Otherness

My otherness in the land of whiteness,
A tapestry of shades, a story of uniqueness.
In Helsinki's embrace, I find my space,
Navigating through cultures, an intricate chase.

In this city of snow, where pale hues abound,
I bring my vibrant colours, breaking new ground.
With every step, I embrace my identity,
A living testament to some diversity.

Amidst the whispers of Finnish,
I proudly stand, An outsider, an artist, holding my own brand.
Weaving the narrative, reclaiming the voice,
In some mosaic of cultures, I rejoice.

My otherness in the land of whiteness,
A testament to strength, resilience, and brightness.
In HEL's heart, I carve my place,
Hugging differences, with love and grace.

With every interaction, a bridge I create,
Uniting hearts, erasing lines of hate.
For in my otherness, I find my power,
Although by times things turn sour.

In the symphony of whiteness, my voice resounds,
A celebration of cultures, harmony abounds.
I stand tall, unapologetic and true,
My otherness in Suomi is a gift I bring through.

So let us embrace this colourful fusion,
Where diversity blooms, dismantling illusion.
In the land of whiteness, I shine bright,
A beacon of hope, igniting the night.

My otherness, a testament to be seen,
A prism of perspectives, breaking the routine.
In Helsinki's embrace, I find my place,
My otherness in the land of whiteness, a source of grace.
